Eating Out with Toddlers and Little Kids Activity Survival Kit

The more activities you can fit in your bag on the better. Keep your little ones as busy as possible at a restaurant so you can enjoy adult conversation. Here are some of my favorite go-to activities when we are eating out.

Quiet Book

Quiet books or busy books are designed to engage kids and keep them busy with activities that don’t make sound. We love ours!

Dry Erase Placemat

This is a huge help. I keep it in my bag so the only time they get to play with it is in the restaurant or on a trip. Makes it more exciting and not old hat for them. Also great to put food on instead of a plate that the baby or toddler might accidentally pull to the ground.

Water Wow

Water Wow books come in travel size and larger size. These are great for plane rides, restaurants, doctors offices, and so much more.

The Peaceful Restaurant

The only children’s books that helps you practice positive behaviors in a restaurant with your kids. The key is to work this book into your reading rotation and prepare far before you ever dine out. Also great to read right before you go. The paperback is thin enough to throw in your bag and read at the table as well.

Wiki Sticks

These wax sticks are great for the home and on outings. Enjoyed by little ones and big kids you can form any shape and are fun to touch.
